“Wonderful food, wonderful hosts, great time with Friends! We had a 4 day/3 night experience with Katherine & Kelley. Dinner was waiting when we arrived, and from there it was a 1st class experience all the way around. We hiked along the Duckabush River... and the next day we went out on Keey and Katherine's boat for oyster shucking and clam digging. All in all it was a great time. We plan to return again next year!”

Katherine is an amazing chef, and the meal-from start to finish- was one of the most flavorful and memorable that I've had in a while! And it's BYOB which is great. The views from the boat are stunning, and I can't think of a better way to enjoy the Hood Canal. Highly recommend this experience!!"

“5 stars for safety, friendliness, and food. I will always champion a dive business that puts safety above all else. A gorgeous day, turned too windy and Capt. Kelly called it for our safety and Katherine while so apologetic (not her fault, she can't control the wind) agreed and we turned around for a land dive. She still had a wonderful back up spot that was great. Capt. Kelly was so friendly, and loved talking about the boat, Katherine is so warm and friendly and just makes you feel good. Afterwards there was Katherine's amazing cooking, handmade lunch and dessert that had us all ready for a nap! :-) While we didn't get to dive the original plan, when it was being explained it was obvious Katherine knew the area and was well prepared with a solid dive plan. I'll be back.”
About Us
Captain Kelley & Chef/Guide Katherine
A lifelong boat lover, Kelley is a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master Captain. He is the mechanic and carpenter behind all our operations. Katherine is an SDI Open Water Scuba Diving Instructor with Jade Scuba Adventures, professional chef with 15 years of experience, and a certified US Coast Guard Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels.
In 2022, they purchased the 1969 36' mahogany trawler Pallin' Around to restore into a commercial vessel. Boating together, diving, and cooking for friends is their idea of the best kind of Pallin' Around! Our boat departs from Pleasant Harbor in Brinnon on the Hood Canal.
